Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

Absolutely not. Our rate-finding system needs six pieces of information: gender, birthday, overall wellness, smoking status, desired amount and length preference. These suffice to produce rates from insurers. Personal information, location details and medical history are sought only upon choosing to move forward with an application.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

These figures represent what each carrier charges for your chosen health bracket. Once underwriting occurs, the company establishes your actual premium, potentially sustaining your classification or moving you into a better or worse group. Everything here functions as illustrative data only—never a binding insurance contract or rate guarantee.

What happens when I click Apply?

You'll provide your personal details to generate a custom application reflecting the rate selection you made, which then moves to the carriers' encrypted submission system. Pausing and returning later is permitted, and signing happens digitally. Susman Insurance Agency, a California-licensed business (License 0B75129), manages the complete application.

Will I need a medical exam?

The answer varies by insurance company, coverage size and details you provide. Some carriers now offer rapid decisions for qualified candidates; each estimate we display indicates whether the firm mandates an exam, might conduct one, or can approve without one.

Is a longer term better?

Select a period covering the duration when your family would face financial hardship without your income: outstanding home debt, dependent children, commercial obligations. Extending the period increases monthly payments but preserves costs for a greater span. Our comparison tool displays 10-, 15-, 20-, 25-, and 30-year options simultaneously.

Does this site sell my information?

No. Rate searches don't require contact information, we never monetize or distribute visitor facts, and analytics operate without stored identifiers. The privacy section documents precisely what data gets captured and which parties receive it.
